That depends on your gross income, filing status, age, and whether you are a dependent on another person's federal income tax return. You may have to file even if you don't owe any taxes, like if you own a business.
Everyone has to file a 1040 for personal taxes, but if you own a business or have other special situations, you may have to file additional forms.
The only guarantee we offer is we will do everything in our power to get you to your goal. GIGO (Garbage In, Garbage Out) is real. If you do not partner with us, we can only do what we have access to.
Different forms are due at different times. Some business forms are due on March 15th or thereabout and personal and most other forms are due on April 15th or thereabout.
The standard timeline for refunds are 21 days, but anything can cause a delay. In 2022, the IRS is extremely backed up so your refund may take longer than 21 days.
If you can’t afford to pay your taxes, it’s imperative you still file a tax return and make arrangements to pay what you owe. Failing to file and/or pay your taxes on time will result in interest and penalties.
